Percabeth

    I ran into the Athena cabin the exact moment that I got to camp. I can't believe I had forgotten Daedalus' laptop! I ran inside and slammed the door. But I looked up and saw Luke. He had the laptop in his hands, the laptop with the information that was supposed to help us navigate through the Labyrinth, and he stole it. I was to shocked to move. It was Luke. He ran to the door and mushed me out of the way. When I finally realized what had happened, he was long gone. "Great." I mumbled. "This is probably the best way to start the day." Then I walked back to Percy's mom's car. When I got into the car, Percy asked where's the Labyrinth information you've been telling me about? I didn't want to get in another big argument with him about Luke, especially not in front of his mom. But then I had to laugh a little. He was 18, and riding with his mom, in a bright blue van! "It was stolen." I said. "By who?" He asked, anger filling his voice. He thought it was Luke. "Luke." I whispered. "Why didn't you stop him!!!!!???" He shouted at me this time. Everyone knew the answer to that question. I was really starting to get mad at Percy.

I got out at Percy's house. Why did I decide to stay at Percy's house until we went back to camp. I walked into his house, put my bag in his room and walked in the living room. I felt kind of bad about being angry at Percy. Then his mom told Percy that she had invited Rachel over. OH COME ON! That stupid kid. She's 15. Percy's 18. I'm turning 18 in a couple weeks. She's not old enough to like Percy. Percy and I are like.... a team. We're, Percabeth. I just hope that Percy feels the same way. Then Rachel walks in and gives Percy a big hug, all smiley and everything, he pushes her off. Then I say "Oh yeah, Percy, I forgot to give you this at camp." I hug him. He looks kind of confused until he sees the anger in Rachel's face. He seems okay with her being jealous, almost happy. He picks me up in his arms and  me carries me all the way to the living room and plops me onto the couch. By now Rachel is ready to punch us. But instead she screams. "THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" I put on my invisibility cap. I duck her first punch, but the second one caught me in the side of my face. So then I sneak behind her and kick her in the back. I grab the back of her neck and then... then my hat falls off. By this time Mrs. Jackson is in the room. Just about the time that Rachel hits me again, in the same spot. But then she misses and hits Mrs. Jackson in the side. I doesn't seem to hurt her, but she does say. "Rachel, I'll drive you home now."

That night I got out my sleeping bag and Percy tied his to mine. It was pitch black in his room. I snuggled closer for more warmth. Then I said "Percy, I think you were just being nice to me today. I have to ask you this. And you have to answer me. Do you love Rachel?" It takes him awhile but he says. "Loved. But when I think of you, I love you 100000000000x more." I wrap my arms around him and kiss him on the cheek. "I love you too Seaweed Brain." I whisper. "And I love you 100000000000000x more than Luke. We're Percabeth." I say cautiously. "Yeah, we're a team. We're Percabeth." He says.
